Cowabunga Lite now supports the iOS 18 alternative and offers a comprehensive customization toolbox for iOS 15 to iOS 17.5.1. Compatible with all iOS devices, it allows you to enjoy features like icon themes, new Siri custom operations as seen in Jailbreak iOS 18 pages of Pangu8, Control Center customization, carrier name changes, and disabling OTA updates—all without the need for jailbreaking.
Cowabunga Lite for iOS 18 beta
Cowabunga Lite is a jailed customization toolbox compatible with all devices’ iOS 18 jailbreak alternative beta. It currently works with Download macOS 12.0+ and Windows, though support for macOS 11.0+ may be added.
Important Note:
The new Siri UI changes only the interface. Apple Intelligence features aren’t available yet. It’s compatible with all iPhones and iPads on iOS 18 / iPadOS 18 Developer Beta 1. However, future Apple Intelligence features will require newer or newer M1 or A17 Pro chips.
Before You Begin:
- Backup Your Device: Ensure your data is backed up. It’s crucial to safeguard your valuable information.
- Disable Find My iPhone/iPad: Turn off Find My iPhone/iPad in Settings > [your Apple ID] > Find My.
- Required: You’ll need a Mac or Windows PC for this process.

For Mac Users
1. Download Cowabunga Lite: Get the macOS 12 version.
2. Connect Your Device: A USB cable links your iPhone or iPad to your Mac.
3. Open Cowabunga Lite: Launch the app to see the welcome screen.
4. Navigate to Custom Operations: Click the Custom Operation tab on the sidebar.
5. Import Configuration File: Import iOS_18_Siri.cowperation via “Import .cowperation.”
6. Enable New Siri UI: In “Edit,” ensure “Enable” is checked.
7. Apply Tweaks: Go to the Apply tab and click “Apply Tweaks.” This may restart your device, showing the Setup screen.
Warning: If you see “iPhone Partially Set Up,” choose “Continue with Partial Setup” to keep your data safe.

For Windows Users:
1. Download Cowabunga Lite: Find and download the software.
2. Connect Your Device: A USB cable links your iPhone or iPad to your PC.
3. Setup Options: Open Cowabunga Lite and select “SkipSetup” in the Setup Options tab.
4. Add Configuration File: Navigate to %APPDATA%/CowabungaLite/Workspace in File Explorer. Locate your UUID, then go to SkipSetup/ManagedPreferencesDomain/mobile and add the downloaded plist file.
5. Apply the Tweaks: Go back to Cowabunga Lite, click the Apply tab on the left, and select “Apply Tweaks.” This will restart your device, showing the Setup screen.
Warning: If you encounter an “iPhone Partially Set Up” screen, choose “Continue with Partial Setup” to protect your data.

Step 1: Download and install Sideloadly.
Step 2: Download the IPA file you wish to install.

iPA files using AltStore for Mac.
Here are the simplest steps.
Step 1: Download AltStore to your Mac.
Step 2: Double-click on the download folder and unzip it. Then drag the unzipped file to the Applications folder.
Step 3: Double-click and open AltStore.
Step 4: In the top right of the menu bar, you will see the AltStore menu bar options. Select “Install Mail Plug-ins” here.
Step 5: Go to the mail and go to Preferences → Manage plug-ins and enable AltStore plug-ins. Then click on Apply.
Step 6: Connect your iOS device to the Mac. You will have to trust the connection if this is the first time you are connecting.
Step 7: In your Mac, go to the menu bar and click on AltStore. And then select Install AltStore.
You will have to enter your Apple ID and Password.
Step 8: After installation is succeeded, AltStore will appear on your iOS. Before opening it go to Settings → General → Device Management. Select your Apple ID and tap on “Trust”.
Now you have installed Alttore on your iOS device.
IPA files using AltStore for Windows PC
Here are the easiest steps.
Step 1: Uninstall the Microsoft version of iTunes, download iTunes and iCloud directly from Apple’s site, and install them.
Step 2: Download AltStore to your Windows PC (from altstore.io) and install it.
Then you will be able to find AltStore from the System tray.
Step 3: Connect your iOS device to the Windows machine. You will have to Trust the connection first.
Step 4: Go to the system tray and click on AltStore. Then click Install.
After entering your Apple ID and password, you can install AltStore on your iOS device.
Step 5: On your iOS device, go to Settings → Device Management → Click on your Apple ID → Click “Trust”.
Now AltStore has been installed on your device.
