How to Checkra1n Jailbreak for MAC users
Download latest supported version of checkra1n 0.11.0
Step 01 – Download the Checkra1n file.
Step 02 – Drag the Checkra1n file into the Applications.
Step 03 – Connect the Mac and the device. Open Mac’s application folder > checkra1n > Contents > MacOS > Now your device will be recognized by Checkra1n.
Step 04 – Click on the Start now. Then it will ask you to enter DFU Mode. Click on Next and it will guide you to enter the DFU Mode.
Step 05 – Turn on the device into DFU mode by pressing the side button and the Volume down button as the instructions right of the window. (iOS 14 users check the video guide for this step)
Step 06 – Once entered DFU mode successfully, it will start the jailbreak process. Wait until complete it and close the checkra1n application after completing the jailbreak process. Then the Checkra1n app will be added on your device home screen.
Step 07 – Open the Checkra1n application from your device home screen. Click on Cydia > Install Cydia> Done. Now Cydia on your device.
How to Jailbreak iOS 12.0 up to iOS 13.7
- Please note that the devices supported by checkra1n are “A9 to A11 devices”
Download latest supported version of checkra1n v0.10.2 is iOS 12 up to iOS 13.7
Step 01. Therefore, check the option “Allow untested” iOS/iPadOS/tvOS versions
Step 02. You will be able to press the “Start” button, even if you are at your own risk.
Step 03. installing the jailbreak app, I tried to go back to the jailbreak environment by restarting the device and re-running checkra1n, but that was completed without any problems.
Step 04. Open the Checkra1n application from your device home screen. Click on Cydia > Install Cydia> Done.
Now Cydia on your device.
Checkra1n is not officially supported at the moment, so it is safe to wait for iOS 13.7 to be officially supported by the update on the checkra1n side.
