How to install Altserver beta for Windows

Step 01. Download the AltServer beta from here

Step 02. Extract the downloaded “AltServer.BETA.rar” file with WinRAR.

Step 03. Launch AltServer BETA by double-clicking on “AltServerBETA.exe” in /AltServer BETA folder (it will appear as an icon in the Notification Area).

Step 04. Trust your iPhone with your computer (if needed).

Step 05. Open iTunes and enable iTunes Wi-Fi sync for your phone.

Step 06. Click the AltServer icon in the Notification Area, click “Install AltStore”, then choose your phone.

Step 07. Enter your Apple ID email and password (NOTE: both email address and password are case sensitive).

Step 08. Wait a few seconds, then AltStore will be installed on your phone.

How to install Altserver beta for macOS

Step 01. Download and install Altserver on macOS

Step 02. Launch Altserver. It will appear as an icon in the menu bar.

Step 03. Click on the Altserver icon in the menu bar and select Install Mail Plug-in. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 04. Once the installation is complete, restart the Mail app. Next, you have to enable the Mail plugin. To do so, click on Mail in the menu bar, then select Preferences.

Step 05. Click Manage Plug-ins…

Step 06. Enable the plugin named AltPlugin.mailbundle, then click Apply and Restart Mail

Step 07. Now connect your iPhone to your computer. Unlock your iOS device, and if prompted, choose to trust the device.

Step 08. If you’re on macOS Mojave, open iTunes and enable iTunes Wi-Fi sync for your iPhone.

Step 09. If you’re on macOS Catalina, go to your iPhone’s summary page in iTunes and enable Show this iPhone when on Wi-Fi. If you’re not sure how to do this, then go to this link to read the guide.

Step 10. Now click the Altserver icon in the menu bar, click Install Altserver, then choose your iOS device.

Step 11. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted.

Step 12. Within a few seconds, Altserver will be installed on your iPhone. Once installed, go to Settings > General > Profiles (or Profiles & Device Management), tap on the profile labeled with your Apple ID, then press the Trust button.
