TrollRestore: Here’s how to install TrollStore on iOS/iPadOS 17.0!

TrollRestore is now available for installing TrollStore on iOS/iPadOS 15.0 – 17.0! Developed by JJTech and @dedbeddedbed, this new method is fully reliable and perfect for setting up TrollStore on iOS 17.0

This new method is a big shift from older TrollStore installers like TrollInstallerX and TrollMisaka. It now supports installing TrollStore on all iOS versions, including iOS 17.0, on all devices.

A new method for installing TrollStore on iOS 17.0 has been released, and we’re excited to share it with you.

Supported versions include iOS 15.0 -16.7 RC (20H18) and all four versions of iOS 17.0:

  • 21A326
  • 21A327
  • 21A329, and 21A331.

Before running TrollRestore, make sure:

Turn off “Find My” on your device in iCloud settings since you must restore a modified backup.

Your device is on iOS/iPadOS 15.0-16.6.1, 16.7 RC (20H18), or 17.0.

You have the latest version of Python3 installed.

If you’re using Windows, make sure iTunes is installed.

Download TrollRestore

Download the file that matches your setup using the options below.

If you’re on macOS or Linux, start by extracting the zip file.

For Intel Macs, you can Control-double-click (on macOS Sonoma and earlier) or just open it as usual. Then, head to System Preferences > Privacy & Security, scroll down and click the “Open Anyway” button.

Install TrollStore Helper using TrollRestore

Step 01. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your PC with a USB cable, then tap “Trust” on your device.

Step 02. Choose the device where you want to install TrollStore Helper and press Enter.

Step 03. Type “Tips” (to rewrite the Tips app).

Step 04. Press Enter to overwrite the data and reboot your device.

For Linux users, run the following command:

  1. To install TrollStore
  2. Open the Tips app and tap “Install TrollStore”.

3. Your device will reboot, and TrollStore will be installed.

To install Persistence Helper from TrollStore:

  1. Open TrollStore from your home screen.
  2. Go to Settings and tap “Install Persistence Helper.”
  3. Select Tips.

If you’re on iOS 17.0 with an iPhone 15 series, this is your first chance to install TrollStore!
