How to Install Checkra1n Jailbreak.

  1. Connect Your iPhone or iPad:

Begin the process by connecting your iPhone or iPad to your Mac computer.

  1. Trust This Computer:
  • If prompted, accept the request to trust this computer.
  1. Download Checkra1n Jailbreak:
  • Obtain the Checkra1n jailbreak by downloading it from the provided link.
  1. Open DMG File:
  • Locate and double-click on the .dmg file on your Mac to open it.
  1. Move Checkra1n App:
  • Drag and drop the Checkra1n app into your Applications folder.
  1. Show Package Contents:
  • Open Applications, right-click the Checkra1n file, and choose “Show Package Contents.”
  1. Navigate to Checkra1n Contents:
  • Navigate to Checkra1n > Contents > MacOS.
  1. Open Checkra1n GUI:
  • Double-click on the checkra1n_gui file to open the jailbreak application.

Start Jailbreak Process:

  • Ensure that the jailbreak application recognizes your iPhone and click on Start.
  1. Enter DFU Mode:
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to place your device into DFU mode.
  2. Initiate Jailbreak:
    • Click Start and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the jailbreak.
  3. Jailbreak Progress:
    • Wait for the successful completion of the jailbreak process.
  4. Verbose Boot Screen:
    • Observe the verbose boot screen on your iPhone with the Checkra1n theme; refrain from disconnecting your iPhone until the jailbreak is complete.
  5. Complete Jailbreak:
    • Once the process is finished, click on Done, and then you can close the application.
  6. Checkra1n Loader:
    • Navigate to your home page and open the Checkra1n loader.
  7. Install Cydia:
    • Tap Cydia and select Install Cydia to commence the installation process.
  8. Installation Completion:
    • The application will close upon completion, and you will now find Cydia on your home screen.
  9. Congratulations:
    • Your device has been successfully jailbroken with the Checkra1n jailbreak.

Compatibility:

  • Checkra1n primarily supports devices with an A5 to A11 chip, which includes iPhones from the iPhone 5s to the iPhone X.
  • It works on iOS versions from iOS 12.0 up to the latest versions, as long as the device is in the supported range.
